Each antique machine that I sell has been cleaned, polished, adjusted, timed and knitted on prior to each sale.

All painted areas on the machines will remain in their antique state which give each machine it's own personality, and no two machines will look the same.

I have found that learning first how to knit tubes, then heels/toes with practice yarn, helps the new person to learn how to use the machines.  So all machines I sell come with directions I have written on a CD, and a video to help you learn these techniques.  The machines will not have a sock on them when you get your machine,  this is less stress on you to try and make a matching sock.  Learning the basics of knitting on a sock machine will take a couple weeks of practice and most of all patience.

If you are near Central Indiana I offer a free class when you pick your new machine up.    All machines come with a e-book CD with written directions that tell you in detail how to use the machine when you get the machine home.

Am a member of the CSMSA  and as a member I hope to see you at various sock machine events this year and in the years to come.

I specialize in Gearhart, Legare and Auto Knitter models.

BEWARE

Of a sock knitting machine you see for sale that :

  • does not have knitting on it, does not show the ribber in use, or a heel being made.   It is a knitting machine you should see it knitting.

  • Are the photos of the machine taken so far back, or blurry  that you can not see the condition of the machine, stitches or worse rust.

  • Is there support from the seller offered to you after the sale to help you with any and all questions you have in your new hobby.
