Katy Abbas from Legacy Farm has donated one of her cast iron Victorian replica stands for the CSMSA  Silent Auction this year in Frederick, Maryland- July 29-31 2007

Victorian Cast Iron base sock knitting machine table.

 Convenient  holes are drilled into the top  to the left of your machine to hold your weights, built in needles holders for your cylinder and ribber needles. and our new yarn  access holes, drilled right into the table.

The holes are located behind the yarn mast  enabling you to put your yarn cones under the table and feed the yarn right up through the table and up to the yarn mast on your sock machine  Save space and look great.
 

 

July 31 the Silent Auction Ends this is the last day of classes at the Conference in Maryland.  The winner of the Silent Auction stand will be announced at 4pm (All times mentioned are local Maryland time)

Bids must be in at least $10 increments above the last highest bid.  

 

How to Bid

To bid on this auction please complete the Silent Auction Form.   If you are out bid and would like to bid again, please complete the form again for each bid.

 

Bid Amounts

When you bid on this auction your High Bid will be your bid.  Bidding on this auction is NOT like a eBay style auction.   For example if the current bid is at $300  and you fill out the form and bid $500   the new High Bid will be $500  Your bid.

Winning Bidder Payment

CSMSA will accept the following forms of payment for the stand, cash, Paypal, money order, or certified bank check if you win and are at the conference.  If the winning bid is from a online bidder you may pay with Paypal, money order, or certified bank check, additional shipping charges will be applied.  If you would like to pay with a personal check the stand will be shipped to you, additional shipping charges will be applied and the check must clear before the stand is shipped. 
 
 
In Person Bidding at the Conference
Bids will be accepted in writing on a tablet during the conference
Bids will be accepted until 3:55pm on July 31 2007 at this time all bidding will cease.
 
Proxy Bidding
If you are not able to make it to the conference and would like to bid on the stand you may contact a CSMSA member who will place a Proxy bid for you.  The CSMSA member who is attending and making the proxy bid for you must not be bidding on the stand for themselves.  They may only place your proxy bid.  You must contact the CSMSA Member, in writing with the highest bid you want to place on the stand.  The CSMSA Member, can only serve as a proxy bidder for one person, and is responsible to bid on the stand in writing at the conference prior to the auction ending at 3:55.  Proxy Bidder must also show the written documentation from the person they are bidding for.
