2008 CSMSA Silent Auction   Legare 400

 

Pat Fly owner of Angora Valley Fibers has graciously donated a Legare 400 sock knitting machine for the 2008 CSMSA Silent Auction, and with help from Mark Amlung, Pat has restored the machine to top working condition. Along with restoring the machine, some additional new features have been added to this wonderful machine.

 

 

If you are looking for a sock machine that will knit like butter  this is YOUR machine.

 

The yarn for the socks in the photos and knit on the machine was donated by Shirley Hendry Walsh  and was dyed by Pat Fly.

July 3rd  the Silent Auction Ends this is one week after the Sock Machine Conference to enable everyone who can attend the conference and also folks who are not able to attend to bid on this wonderful machine.

How to Bid

To bid on this auction please complete the Silent Auction Form.   If you are out bid and would like to bid again, please complete the form again for each bid.

Bids will be accepted in writing during the conference

Bids will be accepted until 4 pm EST on July 3 2008 at this time all bidding will cease.

 

Bid Amounts

When you bid on this auction your High Bid will be your bid.  Bidding on this auction is NOT like a eBay style auction.   For example if the current bid is at $1,300  and you fill out the form and bid $1,500   the new High Bid will be $1,500  Your bid.

Winning Bidder Payment
CSMSA will accept the following forms of payment for the machine, Paypal, check, money order, or certified bank check   If you would like to pay with a personal check the check must clear before the machine is shipped.  Additional shipping charges will be applied from zip code 47471.

 

 

This machine has been fully restored,  and is knitting and ribbing see the additional photos below.  It has 2 cylinders a 54 slot  & 72 slot and a 36 slot ribber.
